Task 4
Task 4 - Exploring tasks with digitals for Primary School Children 馃挍
As you know, the purpose of this task was to choose a subject and perform it as if we were the students, and then answer some questions about it. We chose “The Music Maker”, which consists of creating, in groups of three, a song that reflects a subject. To do so, we had to download an app called Jam Studio.
Since our group consists of six members, we divided ourselves in two rooms in the Zoom meeting and we created two different songs. As a subject, we chose “feelings and sensations”. The first song was a happy song and the other one was kind of scary.
Here you can find our final product of this task.
We hope you like it :)馃挍
In this task, we did several things. First, we answered some questions whose answers that we included in our oral presentation in class. Here they are:

The results from the activity we did are two songs. Here you can listen to them:

The roles in this part were the following ones:
- Ana Isabel was the translator.
- Elena was the analyst.
- Daniela was the facilitator.
- Ana Mar铆a and Paula were the stars.
- Alicia was the journalist.
This activity consisted of two parts. We really liked doing this activity in a group as we found it to be quite an entertaining and fun activity. The first part consisted of choosing an activity and doing it as if we were the students. In the second part, we had to create a Pecha Kucha presentation, which consisted of making 20 slides and each lasting 20 seconds.
On the other hand, the worst part was the choice of the activity itself. Since we did not know which one was going to meet all our requirements 100%. Finally, we opted for "The Music Maker", making use of the JamStudio application. 馃幍馃幍
Without a doubt, the best part of the week was the moment of creating the song. It was very funny as well as curious. On the contrary, I think the worst was the presentation part itself. Since we were all expecting that everything was fine and that there would be no problem with time. 馃暃
On the learning side, we have learned more than I thought we were going to learn. Because in addition to learning what the "Pecha Kucha" presentation technique was, we have learned, in a way, some music, since in order to create the song we had to know more or less how to use the chords.
That week, Elena was very proud of how we have worked. That is why she believed that what we must preserve was the cooperation and support between us. In addition to the fact that, with respect to previous weeks, we had started this activity the same day it was sent, which is why we had been more relaxed when carrying out the activity. 馃榾
With this activity we have learned a lot of information, which we can easily put into practice in our future as teachers. From the technological part, to a minimum of the musical part. This is directly related to the degree, since it is quite recurrent when it comes to doing it with children. It involves a lot of collaboration between them and a minimal knowledge of technology.
HAPPY FLOWERS: We think we deserve a 9 out of 10 for this task, because we were very attentive to all the details at all times. Besides this, we really enjoyed doing this task, as we chose a topic that we all liked so we could work as a team much better. We all performed our roles well. And we also have to say that this time we organised the parts of each one very well, as well as the time we had to do it all.
ELENA 8/10: I think I deserve an 8 out of 10 for this task. I helped my colleagues, I did my part properly, I was available at all times. Although it is true that I felt that I could have helped more with regard to the final product of the activity. Therefore, I insisted on being a bit more in charge of the presentation itself. In addition, I fulfilled my role perfectly, as I was attentive to all my colleagues to see their daily work in order to be as fair as possible with their marks, as my role that week was to be an analyst.
DANIELA: In this task I deserve a 7 out of 10 because I could not participate in all meetings. I could not help my mates to do the TACCKLE 2 books activity, but I answered the questions and helped with the presentation. I tried to help my colleagues as much as possible. Although I did everything I could, I know that it was not enough.
ANA ISABEL: In this task I think I deserve an 8 out of 10, as I did my part of the job correctly. Besides that, I was very involved in my role, which was "translator", I completed it in the best possible and most original way. But it's true, I wasn't available all the time, and I didn't help my teammates as much as I should have, only in the parts that needed me.
ANA MAR脥A: I earned a 9 out of 10 because I was one of the stars and, from my point of view, being the star means involving even more if possible than the other roles, as you have to dominate the topic to explain it. Being the star is not the only reason, but doing my corresponding part of the task was also a challenge for me. At first, it seemed a bit difficult to find a task in which we were comfortable enough and that had the requirements we thought were convenient. Once that was done, I needed to take my time to learn and understand how the app of Jam Studio functioned! It was a real dare for me.
PAULA: I consider I deserve a 10 out of 10 in this task because this was the one in which I was most involved. I wanted to be up to the task and be a good representative of my group in order to reflect clearly in our exposition how much we had worked. I participated in answering the questions, in making the songs, in making the script that Ana Maria and I followed and in making the powerpoint presentation. Regarding the oral exposition, I adjusted myself well with the Pecha-Kucha format of 20 slides of 20 seconds each and I didn’t need to read it because I had rehearsed it several times.
ALICIA: I think I deserve an 8 out of 10 in this task because I was really participative and collaborative by doing the activities and the presentation but I could have helped more. As I was the journalist I wanted to be really involved in this task so I wouldn’t lose any detail.
